Great location. Good breakfast.

Staff a bit nonchalant. There were documents that were supposed to be waiting at reception up on for us. No real effort to locate them.

All of the staff were very friendly and attentive.

All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was very comfortable....the restaurant food was very good. This location is good...right downtown and close to several sights, parks, restaurants and a 3 block walk to get to the malecon on the river.

Everything was fine...and all went well.

The audacity of continental motel

This Property was despicable. The room was dirty and we noticed it about 30 minutes after we got into the room and the receptionist had the audacity to tell us because we were in the room 30 minutes prior to us finding out that it was this dirty on the mattress it probably was us that placed the stain. That was extremely unprofessional and because I had a flight to catch back to California I didn’t have the time to entertain their foolishness. I should of never stayed at a hotel that isn’t well known such as Oro verde, Hilton or Marriott.

I would not stay here again.

Staff and location

Room did not meet my expectations for a Junior suite for 90$/night. No refrigerator, coffee maker or microwave. Bathroom shower had hairs in it.

Excellent hotel close to tourist attractions

Excellent location and the staff are very helpful. The iguana Park is just over the road and is an easy short walk to the Malecón. The breakfast is excellent with many choices. The room is comfortable and air on works well.

The bed is a bit hard for me.

Nice property near most of the tourist attractions. Safe with a 24 hour restaurant next door.

It is a solid hotel that covers the basics and a little extra. 25 mins from the airport and within walking distance to most all of the tourists attractions

The pictures on the web site make it look nicer than it is. Still a solid 3 plus star hotel

5 stars? Not sure.

The food was fantastic.

The staff. They need more customer service training. Plus the hotel needs to be updated. The facilities are too old, the reception is too small for a FIVE star hotel.

Nice place, but needs a little work

Staff are very attentive and helpful. Comfortable room nonetheless. Were able to attend to my room requests. Perfect area to stay in. Breakfast buffet was the most varied I've had and very nice. I wouldn't not stay here again, I just think they need to update the hotel a little.

The rooms are quite dated. Didn't include fridge (like nearly every other hotel usually does). Windows were filthy so it was hard to see out into the wonderful view of the park & cathedral outside. A little overpriced for what it is.

An excellent hotel in the best part of Guayaquil.

Excellent hotel. The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to help, starting with being met at the airport by a bellboy from the hotel, who then proceeded to find a taxi and accompanied me back to the hotel. And the cost, which included the cost of the taxi was very reasonable for this service. Definitely recommend taking up this offer which arrived in an email after I made my booking. Reception also tried very hard to find me the sim I wanted and once again a member of staff accompanied me to a store close to the hotel. Fabulous staff. Great location - very central and the hotel is easy to find after walking aroundvas it is opposite the Park of the Iguanas and the huge cathedral. Room was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom wasn't huge but it had everything one needed. Plenty of hot water. And it was very clean. Breakfast buffet offered juice, fresh fruit, a variety of hot dishes (Ecuadorian and Western) and an assortment of breads and sweet pasteries. No toaster though. Coffee was quite good.

I found the airconditioning rather cold. Turned off the fan in the room which made it comfortable for me but I needed a jacket for the restaurant and bar areas.

Not much to do in Guayaquil but if you are there this is a good place to be. Near the front which is save for tourists to walk around. Large, comfortable rooms and good cocktail bar just across from the lobby (part of the hotel). Also enjoyed the grill restaurant downstairs. Slightly run down and the hallways lack charisma but other than that all good.
